Some may have questioned of the Suzuki GSX-S1000F if it is truly a genuine sportbike? Ultimately you the rider must decide, but we think all signs point to, "Yes"!

Engine

Although the GSX-S gives up about 30 horsepower to the GSX-R, there is still enough power (145 peak) there to satisfy most sport bike enthusiasts crave for quick acceleration. Revised camshafts, lighter weight pistons, and excellent 4 into 2 exhaust system are some of the improvements to the S model.

Suspension & Brakes

A fully adjustabe Kayaba suspension up front and a preload and rebound adjustable monoshock in the rear give the S great handling without sacrificing ride too much. There’s also Suzuki’s brilliant three-way traction control system, and hard-wired ABS system that are great safety features.

Comforts

The handlebars are 136mm higher, and the footpegs that are 24mm lower and further forward on the S than they are on thr X model. All this give you a more upright and comfortable ride, especially for long hauls. A full LCD dash gives the rider the info needed with full gauges, gear position indicator, trip meters, traction control level plus live and average mpg readings.

If you love the Suzuki GSX-R1000, but want a more livable, comfortable ride, the GSX-S1000F is a great option to consider.
